Echoing Penn’s focus on civic engagement over the last two academic years, the Center for East Asian Studies begins our 2022-23 programming with an in-house discussion of engagement in the East Asia classroom.  East Asia faculty will share their experiences with three types of classroom engagement: content learning in language; incorporating library, museum and cultural resources; and cultural immersion and political advocacy.
