The Center for East Asian Studies invites applications from Penn faculty and students to provide partial funding for conferences on topics related to East Asia. The conference must take place at Penn or in Philadelphia, and funding cannot be used for food or catering. Submissions should be no more than one page in length, and include the name of principal faculty, students, and/or organizations responsible for the conference, the title of the conference, contact information for at least one of the organizers, a brief description of planned activities, a requested amount, funds expected from other organizations, and details about how the money will be spent.
